“Now is the time to realize peace.
Women all around the world should come together and
end violence, war, and conflict to open a new era of peace.”

Greetings.
I am Hyun Sook Yoon, the Chairwoman of the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG).

IWPG was established to protect precious lives from war and pass down a world of peace to our future generation with a sense of responsibility.
So far, so many people have desired and worked endlessly for peace.
However, there are still many people living under the terror of violence and war.
We form a network with women all around the world to bring peace to places stricken by war and achieve fundamental peace all around the world.

Women are special because they can conceive life and raise the future generation.
This gives us a sense of responsibility and makes us realize the value and dignity of life. Just as the mother’s womb is the house of a miracle,
the creation of a seed to a human life, if women all around the world become one and become the womb of peace,
sustainable peace can be realized.

The night is dark, but there is still a light of hope because there is the moon.
Let’s all become messengers of peace that bring an end to war and realize true peace to pass down as a legacy to the future generation.
If we women come together as one, we can do it.
